Course Description
Suitable for students who have completed the Beginner Course and have a basic understanding of Polish. The communication scenarios and vocabulary are specifically directed at students who would like to use Polish for work purposes.
Level:
CEF from A1 to A2
Duration:
15 weeks course, 1.5 hrs a week
Study materials:
The leading book for the course is being used which is a communication textbook, enabling you to effectively communicate in Polish. The opening of each lesson is a concrete situation, and the grammar material acts only as a tool to achieve the communication goal. The list of situations presented in the textbook are the result of a needs analysis made among foreigners who live in Poland and whose lack of linguistic knowledge make life in the country more difficult for them.
Patrycja Palka
Patrycja holds an MA in Polish Language and Literature and have been trained in Jagiellonian University School of Polish Language and Culture to teach Polish as a foreign and second language. She started her career as a tutor at Jagiellonian University and now she has been conducting Polish lessons in London working both with private and business clients. Her passion for teaching and languages help her easily connect with people and find a suitable approach. She always tries to make the process of learning as interesting and effective as it is possible.
